Hello, my name is
Juliette Culver
I worked for The Open University for 16 years and am now taking a career break.
I have a doctorate and post-doc research experience in mathematics and then moved into computing. Most recently I was an Associate Lecturer on The Open University's module on Algorithms, Data Structures and Computability. I have also done a great deal of volunteering teaching programming to children, including setting up a group at The National Museum of Computing at Bletchley Park.
I am currently interested in AI Alignment, but also more broadly in the intersections of education, computing/programming and mathematics especially in how games and play relate to learning. I practice yoga, meditation, tai chi and Feldenkrais and love reading, walking and learning about nature.
